For your peace of mind we will explain what our policy is towards the information we receive from you either by e-mail or when you place an order on this website (or by mail, fax, telephone or even in person in our shop)

We NEVER pass your private details to any third party without your prior, written, consent. When you place an order via the secure server we will contact the credit card merchant services for authorisation and that is the only time your information will be used outwith A'anside Studios.
We retain your name and other details on record and may contact you if we feel that a product we produce or sell might be of interest to you. This does not represent consent to divulge your details to any third party.
If you do not agree to us retaining your information we will delete your data from our records once we have responded to the query you originally sent to us.
Your credit card details are not held on computer once we have downloaded from the secure server. The paper copy we make from the secure server is destroyed once your order has been fulfilled and the payment has cleared our bank account.
If you have commissioned an item from us we do retain your details in case we should need to seek a reference. If this is unacceptable to you we will, of course, destroy the data.
Trade customer details and their trade references and all our financial records are retained on-file for a period of at least 6 years from the date of the last transaction. This is Scottish Law
Raw material supplier details are held on file for our reference only.
None of these records are held on our computers
